Amongst the greatest challenges we face today are the rising cost and security of energy supply, and the impact of climate change.

There is increasing world-wide demand for dwindling stocks of traditional fossil fuels. We have reached the point where the development of sustainable energy sources is no longer a distant ideal but a real and urgent need. The Government has provided appropriate signals and industry is responding, but everybody can play a part in tackling these challenges.

There is a clear way forward for sustainable energy generation. Wind-generated power is now a viable and trusted alternative to traditional methods of electricity production.

The Kilbraur Wind Energy Co-operative is about individuals and organisations taking control of a situation that will affect us all.
