Falck Renewables

Falck Renewables are working in partnership with Energy4All to promote community owned schemes across Scotland. There is an agreement with Falck that they will work with Energy4All to create a local co-op on every one of their Highland wind farm sites.

Falck Renewables currently have 6 wind farms in the UK with a capacity of 231 MW either operating or in construction. In addition, Falck have a further 630 MW of projects in various stages of development.

RDC, which has offices in Edinburgh, Scotland and Mold in North Wales, has been one of the most successful developers of wind projects in the UK over recent years. In recognition of its success, the Company received the "Wind Farm Developer of the Year" award from the British Wind Energy Association in 2002.

Falck Renewables has responsibility for managing construction activities, and has sole responsibility for wind farm owner and operator. The RDC Scotland/Falck Renewables partnership thus offers a vertically integrated approach to the development, construction, and operation of wind farms. The necessary resources and expertise to successfully complete a project are internal to the partnership.
